Multiply Annual Away Day 2024

Over 20 growth fund leaders and their team members from across the Diocese gathered at Bishopthorpe Palace to share experiences of pioneering new worshipping communities in their contexts and to learn more about the power of positive public-speaking with Frances Simon.

This Spring six people from St Thomas’ New Worshiping Community (Connect) in Middlesbrough made a public declaration to follow Jesus as they were confirmed by Bishop Paul in front of a packed church.

Full Time and Growth Fund Pioneer Ministers gathered at Wydale Hall along with some of their team members for our annual residential.

Church in a Building’s 3rd Birthday

Church in a Building celebrates three years of meeting in person for worship with the Rt Rev Paul Ferguson, Bishop of Whitby and the Archdeacon Amanda Bloor.

Nik Stevenson, based in Ingleby Barwick recently started running Pilgrimage Walks on the North Yorkshire Moors to encourage people to connect with spirituality, emotions and beings in a deeper way.

 

Church in a Building Baptisms

Church in a Building is a new worshipping community of St Cuthbert's Church Marton (South Middlesbrough), led by Multiply Minister Rev. Sam Tyndall.

Dan Watson and Chris Lethbridge were the first adults to get baptised at Church in a Building. It was a joyful afternoon celebrating their baptism by full immersion.

 

e-Cargo Bike Arrives in Malton

Multiply Minister Hendrik Klaver cycled a new e-Cargo bike 95 miles from Sheffield to Malton to convert into a mobile cafe. It will be used to offer free tea and coffee to people as part of OMG Malton’s community outreach project.
